Refund & Cancellation Policy

Introduction

At Mr.Cakewala, we understand that celebrations rely on timeliness and quality. Because our products are fresh and custom-made, we maintain strict but fair guidelines for cancelling orders and processing refunds. This policy clearly outlines when a cancellation is possible and exactly what qualifies for a monetary refund.

Cancellation Rules

You may cancel your scheduled order without penalty provided the cancellation happens strictly before the kitchen preparation has started. Because our team commits highly specific ingredients and labor to each cake, absolutely no cancellations are permitted once preparation begins. The moment the cake goes into active production, the order is locked and fulfillment is guaranteed.

Refund Eligibility

We take deep pride in our baking and delivery accuracy. However, human errors occasionally occur. You are eligible for an approved refund only under three very specific circumstances: if we deliver an entirely wrong product to you, if the product is significantly damaged at the exact time of delivery, or if your order is altogether not delivered. Refunds are not issued for subjective taste preferences or minor visual variations.

Issue Reporting Window

Due to the extremely delicate nature of our baked goods, any eligible issues regarding wrong or damaged items must be reported within 2 hours of receiving the delivery. To initiate a claim smoothly, customers must provide clear photographic proof of the defect or error along with their immediate complaint. Claims made outside of this strict 2-hour window cannot be verified and will be automatically declined.

Refund Process

Once your submitted claim and photographic proof are verified and an issue is officially recognized on our end, we will promptly authorize a refund. Allow 7 to 10 working days for the refunded amount to successfully process and reflect back into your original method of online payment.

Non-Returnable Items

Cakes and pastries are classified as highly perishable food items. For strict hygiene and safety reasons, products cannot be physically returned to our kitchens once they have been securely delivered and handed over to you. We handle legitimate issues primarily via prompt refunds or replacements rather than product retrieval.

Delivery Disclaimer

While we prepare our cakes with utmost punctuality, final delivery is handled by trusted third-party partners. Time estimates are provided in good faith. We ask for your patience, as minor delays may sometimes occur due to uncontrollable external factors, adverse weather, or heavy transit issues. We are not liable for compensation for uncontrollable logistical delays.

Company Rights

Mr.Cakewala reserves the express right to refuse a cancellation or refund request if the situation does not meet the specified criteria in this document, or if there is suspected fraud or abuse of the refund policy. All final decisions regarding the approval or denial of refunds reside solely with the Mr.Cakewala management team.
